The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to build your confidence, refine your skills and introduce you to new types of diving. Over 5 adventure dives you’ll extend your certified depth to 30 metres (100 feet).
You’ll complete two required dives — a Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation — then choose three more adventures such as boat, drift, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, night or wreck diving, guided by a PADI-certified instructor with a maximum of 4 students.

What you’ll learn
Deep Dive · required
Descend safely to a maximum of 30 metres (100 feet) and learn how greater depth affects you, your air consumption and your dive planning.
Underwater Navigation · required
Master finding your way underwater using both your compass and natural reference points, so you can confidently navigate a course and return to your exit point.
Choose 3 Adventures
Pick three more adventure dives to suit you — boat, drift, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, night or wreck diving — and explore the Red Sea your way.
Your 2 days
eLearning & First Dives
Work through your knowledge reviews online or with your instructor, then gear up and begin your adventure dives on the Red Sea’s reefs.
More Dives & Certification
Complete the rest of your five adventure dives — including the required Deep and Navigation dives — and earn your PADI Advanced Open Water certification.
