The PADI Boat Diver Specialty course is designed to give certified divers a better understanding of boat diving procedures, etiquette and safety — making you feel at ease when entering and exiting the water from boats.
It’s the ideal course for divers moving from shore-based dives to boat diving. Over 1 day and 2 training dives you’ll cover the different types of dive boats, entry and exit techniques, boat-specific safety and local etiquette — guided by a PADI-certified instructor with a maximum of 4 students.

Boats & Procedures
Get to know the different types of dive boats and their features, along with the boat diving procedures and proper entry and exit techniques that keep every dive smooth and safe.
Safety & Equipment
Learn about boat-specific safety equipment and protocols, and how to handle and stow your gear properly on board so you stay organised, comfortable and ready to dive.
Navigation & Etiquette
Pick up navigation tips for diving from a boat and the local boat diving rules and etiquette, then put it all into practice on two instructor-led dives on the Red Sea.
